The ProEmpower PCP Conference on Innovative Solutions for diabetes patients took place on 23 September 2020, 10:00 – 11:30 CET.
ProEmpower is a pre-commercial procurement (PCP) project which has developed two solutions, namely DM4ALL and DIAWATCH, aimed at improving the treatment and the self-management of diabetes type 2 patients. Four healthcare providers from Italy, Spain, Turkey, and Portugal have been testing the two solutions, with preliminary results indicating improvements in the quality of life of patients and in the management of their condition. The conference has specifically aimed at sharing the ProEmpower results with the further healthcare providers interested in implementing such solutions, as well as any other stakeholders interested in the topic. The project has been presented, followed by the presentations of the two solutions, and the experiences and emerging results experienced by the four healthcare providers.
